Networking with speed

Speed Networking

Farrow Creative recently sponsored the Speed Networking event as arranged by the Hampshire Chamber at the Langstone Hotel Hayling.  Sam and Chris participated in the event with a good number of other delegates and the name of the game was in groups of 3 to network in the space of 1 minute per person – this is quite an undertaking for a number of reasons 1. you have to network! 2. you have to get your pitch nice and succinct and to the point 3. your voice starts to go if you don’t keep well hydrated.  The sponsorship involved Sam giving a 5 minute presentation on graphic design and branding at the start of the event and it seemed to go down really well with some good crowd interaction.  The event flew by with many a business card given out and received and some great contacts made.  Thanks to the ladies at the Hampshire and Chichester Chamber for arranging such a great event, we’d definitely recommend it to other chamber members.

Farrow Creative like to support worthy local causes and so were only too happy to help the Rotary Club of Petersfield with their Charity Auction which aims to help eradicate Polio from the world.  Having already done a great deal of work in this area the Rotary Club have shown how we can all make a big difference with just a small amount of help.  Farrow Creative gladly sponsored this worthy cause and gave up time to design and produce an 8 page brochure for the event.  Keep your eyes peeled for these arriving through your letterbox very soon.

The Rotary Club of Petersfield, with the grateful assistance of Jacobs and Hunt Auctioneers, will be holding a charity auction in aid of Thanks for Life – the Rotary campaign to eradicate polio from the world on Saturday 19th June at 2.30pm at Churcher’s College, Ramshill, Petersfield, Hampshire GU31 4AS.  At this exciting event you can bid not only on antiques, collectables and jewellery but on a selection of lots, provided by local businesses, ranging from leisure activities to free fine dining. Viewing will be from 10am on the Saturday morning when you can also leave bids for the afternoon auction.

They would also ask you to search your house, attics, and cellars for any antiques, collectables and jewellery or anything that can be donated for this very worthwhile charity auction.

If you have anything to donate please call Ken Isaac on: 07845 215360 or email:  kenisaac@hotmail.com to arrange a collection.

We’re pleased to announce that the Petersfield Museum re-opens this Saturday 27th February with a one off opportunity to see the Town Mace on public display.  Farrow Creative commissioned and arranged the press release for this exciting new launch that has already featured prominently in the current edition of the Petersfield Post.  Alongside the grand re-opening of both the Museum and the Flora Twort Gallery (featuring a fantastic display of 1930s period costumes) the launch coincides with a brand new Farrow Creative designed website – do check it out here www.petersfieldmuseum.co.uk
